The “Al Coccio Restaurant” has been operating in Sansepolcro since 1983 and has been located in Via Aggiunti since 1988 in the former sacristy of the Camaldolesi. Hence the birth of the logo on a sculpture by Luca della Robbia.
In 1998 it was taken over by Sara Emanuela Battistelli who with a lot of passion, study and commitment, continues her work trying to involve everyone with a genuine cuisine created with fresh and seasonal products (without the use of nuts and substitutes or other types of seasonings).
The pasta is strictly hand-rolled as it once was.
Appetizers, sauces, meats and magnificent desserts are handled by Chef Loide Battistelli, Sara’s sister, assisted by Marco Beers. In the dining room you will be advised by the Maitre Serena Rossi and guided in the choice of wines by Sara herself.
